Chapter 17.16 - General Development Standards applicable to all Districts

Lighting:  All outdoor lighting shall be directed down and screened away from adjacent properties and streets. 

17.20.80   Parking area design standards

7)  All lights used to illuminate parking spaces, driveways or maneuvering areas shall be so designed,
arranged, and screened so that the source of lighting SHALL NOT be visible from any point on adjoining
lots or streets.  All lighting fixtures, including security lighting facilities, shall be directed  away from
adjacent residential uses and public streets and shall not be of an intensity which unreasonably disturbs
adjacent residential users or users of public streets and shall not be installed above a maximum height
of fifteen (15) feet.

17.28.50      Temporary signs

a)  Displays, including lighting, erected in connection with the observance of legal or religions holidays
are exempt from the permit requirement.  Such displays may be erected no more than thirty (30)
days prior to such holiday, and shall be removed within thirty (30) days following the holiday.

7) Illumination or Animation.  Temporary signs shall note be illuminated or animated.

17.28.10      Permitted signs

7) Illumination. Permitted signs may be illuminated but shall not flash, blink, chase or fluctuate and all
direct illumination shall not exceed twenty-five (25) watts per bulb.

e) Illumination: The signs may be illuminated, but only from a concealed light source. Such
illumination shall not flash, blink or fluctuate.

17.28.060 Joint identification signs

6) Illumination of joint identification signs: May be illuminated but shall not flash, blink, chase
or fluctuate and all direct illumination shall not exceed twenty-five (25) watts per bulb.
